About Najda
What kinds of philanthropic work is the Swarovski Foundation involved in?
“The Swarovski Foundation is focused on culture and creativity, promoting wellbeing, and conserving natural resources. We are delighted to currently work with around 30 foundation partners, including Nest, which empowers artisan workers around the world and is also a partner for Sana Jardin; Women for Women International, where we support a project in Nigeria based around female economic empowerment and microbusiness; the Teach for All global education project; and the Free Arts’ Teen Internship program in New York City.”

How do you hope to personally empower those around you?
“As the first female member of the Swarovski Executive Board, I have a huge personal commitment to diversity and to empowerment, and I am proud to represent the 90% of our customers and the 70% of the craftspeople making our jewelry who are female. We are currently working hard across the business with new listening projects and we are rolling out unconscious bias training across our teams. We also focus on empowerment via education partners in the Swarovski Foundation and with our Swarovski Waterschool program, which has now reached half a million students in seven countries around the world.”

What is special about Sana Jardin to you?
“I have grown up in a family company with a commitment that goes back over 120 years to doing business in a way that respects people and planet. For this reason, I have always worked hard to be a conscious and responsible consumer, and I was delighted to discover Sana Jardin’s fragrances. It is clear to me that we need to embrace zero waste and closed loop production, alongside empowerment and education to help build a more positive future for all. Amy’s work to promote and provide this with these wonderful Sana Jardin perfumes is truly inspirational.”
